Summary
To assess the underpinning knowledge to provide evidence that enables continuance of current Switching and Access authorisation levels. This reassessment covers all levels – Lines, Substations and Test.
Training refresher: Every 3 years.
Please note:
- Candidates will have 3 attempts to gain a 90% pass for each discipline. Unsuccessful completion after 3 attempts will result in the authorisation associated with that assessment being revoked
- In the event that the authorisation is revoked, FULL FACE TO FACE INITIAL TRAINING WILL BE REQUIRED for that discipline
- If the failed authorisation is a pre-requisite for other authorisations, then these authorisations will be suspended until the failed authorisation is retrained and issued. There is no retraining requirements for the pre-requisite authorisations that are suspended
- Please refer to the Switching and Working Live LV online theory assessment FAQs (PDF 264.3 kb) document for more information or contact the Switching Reauthorisation team at switchingreauthorisations@energyq.com.au.
